In this issue, we explore Ladakh in a Thar, take the Bolero Camper up to Sandakphu, and rent a Thar in Goa to understand why it’s such a popular rental. Tarushi Vikram is an up-and-coming Autocross racer who, rather interestingly, has used a Thar for racing. Her story’s inside. Additionally, we attended the Mahindra off-road training academy in Igatpuri and interviewed Pratap Bose about Mahindra’s UK design studio and upcoming BEVs. We also spoke with Najira Noushad, known for her cross-country drives in a Thar custom-fitted with a bed and kitchen. We can’t forget classic Mahindras – Vansh Shetty gives new life to his grandfather’s MM 540, and several such older Mahindras help run the show seamlessly at a coffee estate in Karnataka. We have also included a compilation of stories about vintage Mahindra owners and their prized possessions in a special feature called the ‘Passionates’. Finally, we bid goodbye to our diesel hard-top Thar long-termer and welcome a new petrol soft-top Thar. We have exchanged mods and are now hoping for good weather.
