The latest issue of Forbes India, the Innovation Special, points to some amazing work done in Indian labs to provide cost-effective, simpler and more accessible solutions. There’s also an interview with Intel India’s country head Nivruti Rai who says they will focus on both innovation and invention. The cover story, though, is on Royal Enfield’s (RE) Bullet which has been struggling with falling sales for five months. RE”s Siddhartha Lal remains unfazed. With a new CEO and global focus in place, his ambition for the next decade is to become the first “premium consumer brand to come out of India”.
