It is well proved that youth have a very special role in any countries development. Their hardworking, honesty, energy and motivation can prove to be the best ingredients for a successful nation. Youth is the basic driving force of a country and in a country like India with around 65% youth population, the involvement of youth towards the developmental process is of great importance. Jesuits of Kerala has launched an Institute for promoting peace and international relations. In the contemporary context of consumerism, materialism, violence, ethnic conflict and religious fundamentalism, the institute named Loyola Institute of Peace and International Relations (LIPI), hopes to achieve its goals through strategic plans for research facilities, publications, conferring academic degrees, establishing peace forums, seminars and conferences on peace and campaigns to popularize the theme of peace.

The first project of the Institute is the publication of a literary-cultural-scientific magazine in Malayalam titled EZHUTHU: Chinthikkunna Hrudayangalkku which was launched on 1 November 2015. The leading literarians, cultural leaders, scientists, and philosophers contribute to its volumes.
