Several leading lights of the hospitality sector congregated at the 12th Hotelier India Awards to celebrate excellence, and resilience, in a challenging year. This highly anticipated event can well be called a barometer of the industry’s evolution.
This time around, we introduced two new awards categories to reflect the industry’s progress. With most conversation now being peppered with words related to sustainability, the ‘Green Hotelier of the Year’ was a much-needed inclusion, which lauded hoteliers who breathe, live and eat this concept.
The relevance of the newly added ‘Young Hotelier of The Year’ was by the fact that majority of the winners were below 45 years.
