I dette nummeret
The July 2021 issue of PrintWeek digs deep into this issue, and asks a cross-section of industry players how Covid-19 has compelled them to evolve in newer directions.
In the ‘Leadership’ section, Raju Kutty of Purandara Laser Technologies tells Ramu Ramanathan how his company survived the onslaught of a pandemic and held its head high while also giving an insight into the packaging boom of Kochi.
Despite this picture of gloom, the packaging sector has really done well in the midst of the pandemic. The cover story of the July issues focuses on Paul and Mike, a chocolate brand from Kerala, which made history after winning silver for its ‘64% Dark Sichuan Pepper and Orange Peel Vegan Chocolate’ at the world final of International Chocolate Awards.
In other packaging related features, Noel D’Cunha talks to Sahil Rao of Akruti Offset in Pune, who says, challenges bring changes, positive or negative, and Rahul Kumar talks to Ankit Gupta of Holostik India, which is uniquely positioned to help manufacturers and consumers with its anti-counterfeit packaging. There is also Kolkata-based Libako, which has forayed into packaging with a new Gallus.
In the ‘Paper’ segment, Deepak Mittal, president, FPTA, explains that the situation may be painful for Indian paper manufacturers in the short-term, but the outlook is bullish in the medium and long-term.
In the ‘Business’ segment, Kentaro Imafuku of Fujifilm shares the company’s message to the print world: Know thyself.
In the ‘Publishing’ segment, PrintWeek asks seven publishing professionals how are the book publishers dealing with the pandemic, especially the second wave, in terms of workflow, meeting deadlines, print-runs, quality production and sales?
These and more, including the regular features in the July 2021 issue of PrintWeek.
