In a scorching issue of autoX, we lay our hands on some of the finest sports cars and bikes from around the world. First, we drive the new BMW M3 & M4 in Portugal. We also get our hands on the first M3 – the legendary E30 – to see if the new one is a fitting descendent.

Back in India, we ride two of the finest bikes Triumph offers – the Speed Triple, and, in an India exclusive, the Daytona 675R at the BIC. We also try out the new Mercedes S350 CDI. At the more modest end of the scale, we sample 3 automatic hatchbacks – the Honda Brio CVT, Hyundai Grand i10 AT, and Maruti Celerio AMT. We also threw in a Volkswagen Polo TSI GT DSG into the mix as well.

For the first time in India, we’ve conducted a Tyre Test the likes of which has never been done before. We put 4 sets of tyres – from Apollo, Goodyear, JK Tyre, and MRF – to the test at the BIC. Meanwhile, our partners in Italy provide some added exhilaration in the form of the La Ferrari and Lamborghini Huracan, as well as scoops of the new VW Passat and a brand new Skoda SUV.
