ART MUMBAI 2025 concluded its third edition on a high note, setting a new benchmark for South Asian art and reinforcing Mumbai’s position as a global cultural hub. Held from 13 to 16 November 2025, the fair welcomed over 26,000 visitors and featured 82 leading Indian and international galleries, marking over 60% growth since its debut in 2023.
The fair recorded exceptional sales across modern and contemporary art, with several galleries selling 80–90% of their booths and many reporting sold-out presentations. Strong institutional and international acquisitions highlighted the growing global interest in South Asian art, while emerging artists gained significant visibility and commercial success.
A major highlight was the landmark solo exhibition “Tyeb Mehta – Bearing Weight (with the lightness of being)”, which drew overwhelming public response. Alongside robust market activity, ART MUMBAI’s talks, performances, and citywide programming fostered meaningful cultural dialogue, affirming the fair’s evolution into a leading platform shaping the future of South Asian art.
