Within India, super-app ecosystem is still in a nascent stage, but the revolution has certainly begun. Dominant players like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Paytm, Reliance, and Tata, are already there in the race, to be on the top of the super-app game. Super-app basically enables you to complete multiple tasks or actions in one place, and thus eliminates the need to switch between different apps or providers to get things done.

Though Paytm is already considered to be a super-app, it still doesn’t miss out on any opportunity to introduce new features on its platform. One such example is ‘stock trading’, which Paytm has recently introduced on its Paytm Money platform so that over 6 million investors — who already invests in Mutual Funds & NPS through Paytm Money — will be able to invest, trade and do detailed research on stocks, in the same place.

Even, one of India’s largest conglomerates, Tata Group is reportedly working on a super app, with plans to release it by early next year.
