Being based in Hong Kong, one of the most cosmopolitan capitals in the world, it’s just right that Home Journal dedicates an issue to the joys of city living. Often, an urban abode suggests compromise, but the eight homes we feature this month argue otherwise. A great example is the Parisian home of renowned designer Jean-Louis Deniot, which at only 1,000sqft is enough to transport you to a different world. Other sections also take on an urban slant – Report focuses on the enduring legacy of the late Zaha Hadid, who shaped many places with her forward-thinking architectural designs, while in our Living section we journey to the metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City.
