Our front cover subject this month is a Dragon PzKpfw III Ausf M kit which has been expertly weathered by Wouter Vrints. He explains the various products and techniques he uses, including an interesting Oil Paint Rendering one, commencing on page 40. Nigel Norfolk begins the issue's main features with a stage-by-stage build account of Merit International's 'big' FlaK 36 88mm anti-aircraft gun kit. Then Steve Zaloga models the most unusual Polish Kubus 'one-off' armoured truck in 1:35 scale form. Next, Ian Succamore shows how to paint reds and whites with high contrast using a 54mm figure of Wincenty Krasinski by Le Cimier as his example. Andy Belsey then tells us about the space-saving benefits of producing AFV dioramas in minute 1:285 scale. Finally, Chris Meddings provides some brief photo highlights from last year's Scale ModelWorld show at Telford, otherwise known as the IPMS Nationals.
