In this issue, our Big Interview is with acclaimed theatre director Sally Cookson, whose A Monster Calls opens at The Old Vic next month, and we caught up with author Steve Tasane over a coffee to discuss his latest YA novel Child I. We look at the expanding educational offerings from LIPA in Liverpool and at the community work of the M6 Theatre Company based in Rochdale. Now in their 124th year, we take a look at the annual festival that is The Proms, now offering much more than just a series of classical concerts, and at the use of signing incorporated within the action in a growing number of productions to make theatre more inclusive.
