In the July issue of The Landy, we catch up with Jannis and Valentina Drew – overland adventurers whose expedition through Africa has ground to a halt as they spend an enforced stay in Namibia. What’s it like living out of your Land Rover when the borders around you have slammed shut?
In slightly less dramatic news, we’ve got the latest on Land Rover’s new plug-in hybrid Evoque and Discovery Sport, and a profile of an ex-military 90 that celebrated its arrival in civvy street with an impressive set of modernisations from Overland and Highway.
Talking of modernisations, over on the other side of the Pond we’ve got the story of a Range Rover Classic that started as a ‘bit of a dog’ and it made up from all sorts of bits – but brings them together into a package with a real pedigree. And staying in the workshop, we’ve been trying to track down the source of an annoying vibration in a Td5 90.
