The Dubai Lynx 2015 Curtain Raiser captures viewpoints of five jury presidents who will vote on work this year: BBDO's David Lubars, McCannXBC's Joyce King Thomas, Havas Media Group's Mike Wilson, Newcast's Mark Waugh and Finch's Rob Galluzzo. We get festival-seasoned creatives from the Middle East to reflect on the role of regional festivals and state their expectations from Lynx this year. Elsewhere, we feature an in-depth interview with TECOM Investments group CEO Dr Amina Al Rustamani, who will be honoured with the 'Advertiser of the Year' title at Lynx 2015. Festival speakers Amir Kassaei (DDB) and Wain Choi ( Cheil) reflect on creativity in the Middle East, awards, and more. A snap shot of some of the work in the reckoning that we have seen in the past year, and a chat with IAA UAE chapter president Hani Ghorayeb on its longstanding association with Dubai Lynx complete the special feature. Ghorayeb reveals findings of the IAA Youth Survey 2015, as he explains the industry body's youth focus and why it will be represented on stage at Lynx 2015 by three young professionals. Among regular features, we engage TBWA Worldwide president and CEO Troy Ruhanen in conversation, on the innumerable changes he is ringing in across markets in an attempt to reclaim the 'Disruption Agency' tag. Columnist Ramsey Naja of JWT MEA meanwhile, offers some valuable advice for adland's hopefuls.
