Let’s talk about women. At the risk of sounding insensitive to the struggle of Middle Eastern women, I must start out by saying that I have never experienced gender burden in the Middle East… yet? In my professional career, never did I have a male colleague give feedback on my work based on my gender or theirs, but rather they were able to shed an alternative perspective on it when they were more experienced in the field.
