Erin Andrews is AT THE TOP of HER GAME

Beloved FOX NFL sportscaster Erin Andrews has tackled more than just a male-dominated industry for the last 20 years—she's faced some of life's toughest challenges head on. And while she's an open book on her Calm Down podcast, that hasn't always been the case. Reflecting on some of her hardest life experiences—including facing down a stalker in 2008, overcoming cervical cancer in 2016 and then struggling with infertility for a decade—Erin admits she didn't want to face the fear and heartache at first. "I just went back on the field because I loved my job," she tells Woman's World. "Work became a mask for me—a way to focus on something I loved while life felt chaotic."

However, now Erin acknowledges avoidance doesn't replace dealing with her feelings. “The first time we suffered loss during our infertility journey, I didn’t grieve properly,” she explains. “I just threw myself back on the field again, and this summer, I had a flareup of PTSD and went back to therapy. I’ve been through a lot, but who hasn't? I’ve finally learned that you can’t bottle it up.” Here, Erin gets candid about her journey to healing and how she’s empowering women to do the same.
