Recently, my husband and I embarked on a DIY ‘journey’ to spruce up our home of more than a decade. I thought it would just be slapping paint on the walls. But, as we peered into our understairs cupboard – which was a junk-shop-like nightmare crammed with boxes – I realised the moment of truth had come. I had to do a proper clear-out.
You see, I can ignore stuff that isn’t quite right for a long, loooonnnggg time, then something will click in my head and I’ll need to sort it. So that I don’t ever have to sort it again.
