She's an icon of Aussie film and TV who's shared the screen with the likes of Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett, starred in classics like The Castle and was named an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to the performing arts in 2020. Now, Robyn Nevin, 80, is bossy busybody Joan in the new Aussie film The Appleton Ladies' Potato Race.

Based on the play of the same name, the Paramount+ production follows Penny Anderson (Claire van der Boom) who returns to her childhood home just in time for the Appleton Show and its "world famous" potato race, where she unleashes a culture war! 

Did you enjoy filming in the beautiful NSW Southern Highlands?

It was lovely and it was convenient because I live in the lovely Southern Highlands. It was a great surprise to find out they were filming so close to where I live.
