The Zonfrillo family's final love letter to Jock is the beautiful cookbook he never got to finish

Two years on from his untimely passing, and just a week shy of what would have been his 49th birthday, Jock Zonfrillo's family are releasing his final cookbook, Recipes to Remember, into the world.

The book, which the MasterChef Australia judge had been in the process of completing when he died on April 30, 2023, has been edited by his family, particularly his wife Lauren Fried and daughter Ava, 22, and includes some of Jock's favourite Italian and Scottish meals that he loved to cook for the family.

Also included is a dedicated chapter from his dear friends including Gordon Ramsay, Nigella Lawson, Maggie Beer, Jimmy and Jane Barnes and fellow MasterChef castmate Andy Allen, who have all provided recipes, which are inspired by some of his favourite dishes.

The foreword is written by Jamie Oliver.

In a statement, the family dedicated the book “from the little crew who sat on the kitchen stools, learning, chatting and eating with Dad.”
