WHY GO? 

There's something magical about boarding the iconic Caledonian Sleeper at night and waking up in an otherworldly land at dawn. Not only is it kinder to the environment than flying, but adventurers can begin their jaunt into the Scottish Highlands with a coffee in hand and enjoy dramatic snow-capped peaks on repeat from the train's expansive windows. On the last leg of the thrilling journey, just as Loch Treig slips into the distance, picture-postcard Spean Bridge railway station appears. As the crossroads of the Highlands, it's the ideal place to disembark as the train rolls in at the respectable time of 9.38am. With a full day ahead, the Highlands beckon.
