Since becoming single last year, Ruth Langsford has had the ultimate glow-up and is doing better than ever

The nation was shocked last May when TV's golden couple, Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, announced their separation.

A spokesperson at the time said, 'Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.' But while, at the time, we couldn't imagine the pair - who used to host This Morning together - apart, it seems Ruth is coming back stronger than ever. Looking happy and healthy, the star appears to have a new lease of life. From changing up her hair to admitting to losing a few unwanted pounds and enjoying nights out with her pals, Ruth confesses, 'I am trying to now embrace the fact that I'm single and can make choices that are just about me.'

In recent months, Ruth, who celebrated her 65th birthday last week, has gone longer and blonder with her hair. She told fans, 'My hair got thinner during menopause, Which is why I started having hair extensions... not for length, but for thickness. I had clip-in pieces first, then I progressed to tapes and now I have LOTS of keratin bonds, really small ones so they're very discreet.'

And fans are loving her new do, with one commenting, 'You look gorgeous with long hair,' while another added, 'Wow, look so much younger, love it.' A third agreed that Ruth looks great, adding, 'Loving the longer look.'
