How to tell if you're overweight

Did you know that, in the UK, it's estimated that around one in every four adults are living with obesity? The most-used method to assess if someone is overweight is body mass index (BMI). A BMI of 25 or more concludes you are overweight, and 30+ means obese, although this cutoff can vary between ethnicities. Either way, the use of BMI has been criticised as being too simplistic as it doesn't take into account the difference between muscle and fat.
