DAVINA Michael and I don't need to MARRIED' GET

After recovering from a brain tumour, the presenter is focused on getting better – and not on getting hitched

Davina McCall could be forgiven for wanting to rush down the aisle as soon as possible with her partner Michael Douglas. Following her shock brain tumour operation in November last year, where she had a rare colloid cyst removed, the 57-year-old presenter has been raring to go. She's been back working on her TV projects and is clearly keen to move on from that difficult time.

However, Davina - who has children Holly, 23, Tilly, 21, and Chester, 18, with her ex-husband Matthew Robertson - has admitted if there is one thing she isn't bothered about doing quickly, it's getting married to Michael.

'It's so funny - it's a bit like being in your 30s again, when everyone asks you the same question about whether you're getting married. We're ensconced but it's not part of our world at the moment. We don't really need it,' she said. 'It's a very different thing, dating in your 50s than when you're in your 30s. We're in a really good place and have so much fun together. I think we're really lucky to have each other.'
