The Chase is on for the Dark Destroyer to raise some serious money for Cure Kids

Superhero Shaun 'I'M USING MY POWER FOR GOOD'

Being famous is not everyone's cup of tea. It was certainly not something Shaun Wallace aspired to when he was growing up in London and dreaming of a career as a barrister.

But thanks to his skill at answering random general knowledge questions and his good fortune in landing a side job on the hugely popular UK TV show The Chase, he has ended up becoming very well-known both at home and overseas.

And Shaun - who'll be visiting New Zealand next month to help raise money for Kiwi charity Cure Kids - says he's thankful for that.

"I didn't ask to be famous, but I'm grateful that I am, and that I can use it in a positive and altruistic way," he shares. "It's an honour that I can help charities like Cure Kids."

imageIn fact, he feels it's his duty to use his fame where he can.

He explains, "With fame comes responsibility, as Spider Man says. Famous people should use their power for the force of good instead of being self-indulgent and just using it for themselves."
