There's been a whole lot of making up for the clan

CYRUS SECRETS

The Cyrus family is finally mending their achy breaky hearts. Flowers singer Miley Cyrus released her new song Secrets recently, calling it a peace offering after years of estrangement between herself and her country crooner dad Billy Ray Cyrus.

“This song was written for someone I had lost for a time but always loved,” Miley, 32, explains. “In my experience, forgiveness and freedom are one and the same. This song is for my dad.”

The pair fell out following Billy Ray's 2022 divorce from wife Tish, 58, after raising five children together.

Miley took her mother’s side in the bitterness that followed but now reflects, “As I've gotten older, I’m respecting my parents as individuals instead of as parents. I think I took on some of my mum’s hurt as my own because it hurt her more than it hurt me... and so I owned a lot of her pain.

“But now that my mum is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad I see finding happiness too, I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing.” Billy Ray, 64, is currently dating Elizabeth Hurley, 60.

Meanwhile, Again singer Noah Cyrus has also buried the hatchet with her mum.
