If you find yourself snacking out of habit or skipping breakfast, tuning back into your natural hunger is key.

The busy nature of modern life means that we are often eating on autocue rather than because we are truly hungry. Eating can also be a welcome relief from the mundane nature of daily life, but constant snacking and grazing throughout the day can mean we never have the three to four hours in between meals without food to fully digest all the food in the stomach and subsequently experience natural hunger come mealtime. And if you are someone who has a history of yo-yo dieting, it may be possible that over the years, you have learnt to ignore the hunger signals your body sends out.
