Whatever be your chosen month or interest, there are experiences galore around the world. We spoke to the top travel experts in India to get a definitive list of honeymoon itineraries for every season and every kind of couple.

SPRING

Spring is the best time to visit Japan and enjoy "hanami", or the transient beauty of sakura flowers. Stroll through Nakameguro in Tokyo and take a boat ride to the Chidorigafuchi moats to see the cherry blossoms cascading into a river. Check into Sengokuhara, a traditional onsen hotel outside Hakone and rejuvenate by immersing yourselves in natural hot water springs. Don't forget to take a cruise on Lake Ashinoko or go up to the Great Boiling Valley to see the magnificent geothermal vents.

For the couple that fancies a side of culture, head to Morocco. Prep for some serious pampering at the Royal Mansour Marrakech (owned by Morocco's king) or La Mamounia, a palatial estate with expansive gardens and silk-draped ceilings.
