South Korean developer Pearl Abyss has confirmed that its long-awaited open-world action RPG Crimson Desert has crossed a major milestone: more than two million wishlists across global digital storefronts.

The studio shared the news in a brief statement thanking players for their support, calling the response “an incredible show of interest” as the project moves closer to release.

The figure places Crimson Desert among the most anticipated titles of the coming year, signaling that years of trailers, demos, and developer updates have translated into sustained momentum. While wishlists do not guarantee sales, they are widely viewed across the industry as a strong indicator of launch-day demand—particularly for new IPs competing in a crowded open-world landscape.
