The OnePlus 12R brings significant improvements in display and performance, truly shining in its battery life. However, the camera falls a little short of expectations. OnePlus has spared no expense when it comes to aesthetics. The design exudes premium quality, with the aluminum matte frame contributing to its weight. However, transitioning from an older OnePlus to the OnePlus 12R, the 207-gram weight feels noticeably heavier.

OnePlus has included a screen guard for its curved display, despite it being protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. However, for those who handle their phones with care, the screen guard might be bothersome, as it can be felt while swiping on the screen. The OnePlus 12R sees a shift in button placement, with the alert slider now positioned on the left side and the volume buttons moved to the right. It took some adjustment time, but after over two weeks of using the device, I have grown to prefer these placements.
