A five and kicking

LG's mid-range OLED TVs have long been Stuff favourites, but can the 42in baby of its new C5 range mix it with the big boys?

The latest version of webOS isn't a massive departure from last year's, so existing LG owners should feel right at home with the C5. Useful cards put all your sport, music and gaming apps in one place, with all the big-name streaming services on the home screen... but there's still too much space devoted to ads.

There's no escaping AI either. It can turn voice prompts into screensavers using cloud-based image generation, as well as adjusting settings on the fly based on what you're watching. There's also an AI button on the remote that summons the built-in voice assistant.
