■ The OnePlus Watch 2R will appeal to those who prefer a large classic chronograph design over sleek and trendy modern watches. A major difference with the Watch 2 is the flat cover glass enclosed in an aluminium alloy frame. The Watch 2R ditches the sapphire crystal cover glass in favour of a 2D glass.

■ The 1.43in AMOLED display offers 600 nits peak brightness, while the screen’s 466 x 466 pixel resolution means 326 ppi pixel density, in line with other premium smartwatches. The display is bright and legible with sharp text, making data-dense watch faces effortless to read.
