MR FOUR-EYES Xiaomi 15 Ultra

Hasselblad, Zeiss, and more; big smartphone makers collaborating with big camera makers isn’t a new thing anymore. If anything, it’s expected, given that smartphone users can then benefit from the expertise that the big camera makers bring to the smartphone game.

Xiaomi’s continuing partnership with Leica is one such collaboration, but this one has led to some excellent results in the past. It’s only obvious then that it will continue into 2025, with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra offering the flagship smartphone experience coupled with the promise of camera dominance.

Leica’s expertise comes into play with the quad-camera setup, which includes three 50MP sensors sitting alongside a massive 200MP sensor. Did we mention that it’s all designed to look like a classic camera, too?

Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, and more flagship-grade stuff to go with it. There’s also a rather interesting optional photography kit, making this more camera and only sort of a WhatsApp machine.
