A new drive, the Black SN770 is the spiritual successor to the ageing WD Black SN750. While they have similar names, the SN770 has more in common with the SN850 than the older drive.
For starters, this drive has a PCI-E Gen4 interface, rather than the Gen3 of the SN750. And it costs only a little more than its predecessor.
