Makes signing and managing documents simple, but best suited to business users who have to regularly sign docs

- STEVE PARIS

DocuSign

SCORE 4/5

PRICE Standard, £17 (£20 inc VAT) per month per user from docusign.co.uk

As you might guess from the name, DocuSign is a tool for adding personal signatures to digital documents. That's a valuable ability in an age when teams are often collaborating remotely.

The entry-level Personal plan costs £80 exc VAT per user per year, and integrates with Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive. You can configure an audit trail, set up reminders and notifications, and create templates. Accompanying mobile apps help you keep track of your documents while on the go; the catch is that you're only allowed to send five documents to be signed per month. That restrictive limit is removed in the higher tiers. In addition to the above, the Standard plan lets you add comments to documents, get team reports and grab in-person e-signatures via the mobile app; this tier is priced at £200 exc VAT per year.
