The Half-Life RTX demo is now out, so I thought I'd give this fully retraced remake of the classic FPS a whirl.

And, while there are currently only the Ravenholm and Nova Prospect levels available to play through, rather than the full game, what we've got here sure is damn impressive. Well, it’s damn impressive providing you have the graphics card to run it, with my GeForce RTX 3090 Ti system puffing to run the game at a high framerate on Ultra settings at 4K resolution. So, why is that?
