This cost efficiency stems from its mixture-of-experts (MoE) architecture, which selectively activates only a portion of its parameters per query, slashing computational demands. Unlike many competitors, DeepSeek AI can operate on less advanced hardware, bypassing restrictions on high-end chips and broadening its accessibility.
