In a major boost to facilitate investment, Odisha has established a dedicated renewable energy agency that provides comprehensive support to potential investors. EPR interacts with Debasish Das, Director (Commercial) of GRIDCO Limited, to know the state's proactive role in the renewable energy landscape.
What made Odisha participate as a partner state in the REI 2025?
Odisha was the first state to privatise distribution companies, and our presence in the renewable energy sector is long-standing. We participated in the 18th edition of the REI because we have several tenders, including the floating solar plant and the pump storage system.
It would be an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our state as a preferred investment destination.
