Tom 'Ailes' the achievements of inspirational skipper Riley

SEDGLEY Park No. 8 Tom Ailes says his team relish the competitive nature of National One and is confident the Tigers can rectify their rocky start to the season in weeks to come.
Since their promotion from National 2 North in the 22/23 season, Tigers have more than held their own in the third tier, finishing mid-table last season and taking some big scalps in the process.
After their 65-24 win against Esher in this season’s opener, Tigers’ success has been limited, but Ailes says that his side are using subsequent strong performances against top teams like Rotherham and Rams as a benchmark and is optimistic they can soon find their groove.
