OSCARTALBOT LEICESTER & ENGLAND U18 FLY-HALF

Oscar Talbot says it's a privilege to wear the England 10 shirt at U18 level and hopes to follow in the footsteps of the great fly-halves who have gone before him.

The Leicester Tigers playmaker describes his playing style as in between the predominantly game-managing Owen Farrell and dazzling entertainer Marcus Smith. Talbot represented England U18s in their unbeaten Six Nations Festival, scoring a try in the 71-5 demolition of Scotland.

Talbot told The Rugby Paper: "People I always looked up to when I was younger were people like Dan Carter and Johnny Wilkinson.

They're the two best to have played 10 and the most complete players. It's a privilege to play for England at fly-half. I'm so fortunate to be able to try and replicate what the greats of the game have gone on to achieve. When it's on to run, I'll run like Marcus Smith, but then I can manage games like Owen Farrell as well, so I'd say I'm a mix between the two.
