Waters is helping Latics to flow

ILLY Waters' strike on the cusp of half-time was enough to give Oldham Athletic a hardfought win on the road at Solihull Moors, who remain winless under new manager Matt Taylor.

The result leaves the Latics unbeaten in four backto-back away games, with boss Micky Mellon full of praise for his players.

"It's important you win these," a relieved Mellon said with his side fourth in the table, six points behind the National League's leading trio.

"We have come off the back of four away games where we have won three and drawn one.

"Against the opposition we have played against, and with the difficult places we have had to go, the players deserve an enormous amount of credit.
