JOSH UMERAH marked his first league start for Dagenham & Redbridge by grabbing the goal that ensured a share of the spoils at Maidenhead.
The Daggers centre-forward, who missed the second half of last season with an ankle injury while still a Hartlepool player, found the net soon after the break to cancel out James Golding's first senior goal.
Although Daggers remain winless in six league games, manager Ben Strevens said: "Josh is a great lad and I'm thrilled for him to get the goal. Hopefully it's something for him to build upon.
"He did brilliant a couple of years ago at Hartlepool but he got a really bad injury and we signed him knowing he might not make the first game of the season.
