HORNETS ARE BUZZING FOR 3G SWITCH

The Hornets have wasted little time in announcing proposed plans for a major redevelopment in the aftermath of their first ever season in Step 3 after confirming plans for two new 3G pitches at their Hebburn Sports Ground home.

A new South Stand has also been planned that will house changing rooms, a gym, offices and a club shop along with a new community building and there are also plans to extend ‘The Sportsy’ bar that has become popular within the local community on matchday and during the week.

Hebburn have made representations to their local authority and visited parliament to meet representatives from the Department of Housing and Communities and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport as they await news on the funding for their plans.
