Singapore Island Country Club’s May Day Charity raises $1.89 million for its charities.

May Day, otherwise known as Labour Day, has always been a day of rest for the employed. But for Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) it was a day to push the final effort in holding arguably the country's largest charity golf event.

Since 1972, the SICC May Day Charity has raised more than $27 million supporting charities and organisations that help the vulnerable and marginalized. This year, the event raised $1.89 million to empower lives and inspire communities across Singapore.

The occasion was graced by Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Madam Tan Choo Leng.
