THERMAL IMAGING AND BALLISTIC PROTECTION DRIVE SOLDIER MODERNISATION

MKU Limited, a Kanpur-headquartered global defence and homeland security company, unveiled three ground breaking technologies at Milipol Paris 2025 that directly address critical operational requirements identified by the Indian Armed Forces. The November 2025 showcases, featuring the Netro Aksion Thermal Core, Kavro Kiro'X Ballistic Ceramics, and the upgraded Kavro Doma 360 Ultra Helmet, represent key developments advancing MKU's strategic mission to empower global defence and law enforcement agencies while strengthening India's indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities.

Netro Aksion Thermal Core: Addressing India's Critical Thermal Imaging Gap

The Netro Aksion Thermal Core features MKU's latest 12 µm pixel pitch uncooled microbolometer sensor, delivering superior pixel density, clearer thermal imagery, and extended detection range for India's diverse operational theatres.

Its Advanced Image Processing Suite includes contrast/brightness optimisation, denoising, CLAHE, white balancing, edge enhancement, and bad pixel correction, with an intuitive HMI for seamless zoom, polarity inversion, NUC activation, and real-time optimisation.

The Aksion thermal core features selectable reticles, precision zeroing for weapon sights, 8x digital zoom with image stabilisation, and versatile video outputs (USB, RGB24, YCbCr, HDMI, MIPI-DSI). MIL-STD-810G/461F certified, it ensures reliability in extreme climates, high vibrations, and EMI environments across India's diverse terrains.
