Viltrox joins L-Mount alliance

Viltrox will join the L-Mount Alliance on 1 September, becoming the tenth member since the mount was opened to partners at Photokina 2018. The move allows Viltrox to design native L-Mount products using Leica's standard, with full electronic communication and cross-system compatibility.

Until now, the company's L-Mount catalogue has been limited to cinema lenses and adapters; new L-Mount lenses are expected to be introduced alongside the announcement.
