You usually take landscape images, so what made you switch to shooting street photography for this project?

It was mainly time and opportunity. Work pressures and a young family made it difficult to find the time to photograph landscapes. I was spending a lot of time in cities, so I decided to maximise the opportunities in front of me, rather than lament the ones that weren't.

Your two books are on Hong Kong and Tokyo. What was it about these two cities that attracted you to them?
