His adventure with moon pictures started by chance during the pandemic which soon turned into a passion. He began with just a simple camera and a big interest in the night sky, which led him to discover his passion for showing the moon's stunning beauty through photos. In this interview, we talk about the parts of taking pictures of the moon, like learning how to shoot in the dark and using a special method called image stacking to make the pictures clearer and more detailed.

What initially drew you to lunar photography, and how did you get started in this unique field?

I did not plan to get into photography. It just happened to me as I used to like clicking pictures from a very small age using the best available source. But I took it more seriously in year 2020 when the lockdown was announced as I was all alone in my room just with a point and shoot camera. Then I decided to go on my terrace and start some photography in the night sky. Although moon was my favourite since childhood and I never thought I will be obsessed with moon in future. After few days, I started enjoying it more as I explored a lot about both the photographic techniques and clicking night sky as well as I studied a lot about all the astronomical phenomenon.

Lunar photography is known for its technical challenges, such as capturing detail in low light conditions. Can you share some of the key challenges you face and how you overcome them?
