ABOITIZ Equity Ventures Inc. (AEV) delivered solid financial results in 2025, reporting a consolidated core net income of P25.5 billion, matching its performance in 2024 as the conglomerate continued to benefit from the strength of its diversified portfolio across power, banking, food and beverage, infrastructure, and real estate.

‘The company’s reported net income reached P18.3 billion for the year, a slight 1 percent increase from P18.1 billion in 2024 after accounting for P7.2 billion in nonrecurring items, largely linked to AboitizPower’s partial impairment of the GNPower Mariveles Energy Center.

As the strategic investment manager of the Aboitiz Group, AEV continues to push forward its long-term vision of transforming into the country’s first “techglomerate”—a business model that integrates technology, data, and sustainability to accelerate growth and create long-term value across its portfolio.

The group's earnings remained anchored on strong contributions from its key business segments. Power remained the largest driver, accounting for 46 percent of total net income contributions from AEV’s strategic business units, The food and beverage segment followed with 33 percent, while banking and financial services contributed 22 percent, highlighting the company’s balanced earnings mix.

AboitizPower delivered a strong operational performance during the year, generating P79.6 billion in EBITDA, up 9 percent from P73.3 billion in 2024. The increase was supported by fresh contributions from Chromite Gas Holdings Inc. and the addition of new renewable energy facilities, including solar plants in Laoag, Armenia, and Calatrava.
