Haaland (pictured right), took his senior Norway goals total to 51 with a hat-trick in this month's 5-0 victory over Israel. In doing so, he broke Harry Kane's record of fewest games needed to reach an international half-century - taking just 46 matches compared to Kane's 71.

Haaland's goals for Norway in a 12-0 Under-20 World Cup win against Honduras in 2010, which saw him win the tournament's Golden Boot even though he failed to score in his country's two other group games.

Last month Haaland became the fastest player to 50 Champions League goals, taking just 49 games. Of those, 27 were scored for Manchester City in 30 games. The previous record was held by Ruud van Nistelrooy (62 games).
