Waerea-Hargreaves avoids a career-ending suspension

A total of six Super League players have been charged by the RFL's match review panel after the final round of the regular season but Hull KR's giant prop Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has escaped a sanction which could have ended his career.

There were fears Waerea-Hargreaves' could receive a two-match ban for a high tackle on Warrington's Josh Thewlis during their defeat to the Wolves last Thursday.

The prop is currently on 11.5 disciplinary points meaning that any charge of any kind would have come with a two-match suspension.
