Given that many of us will have consumed our entire body weight in pies and chocolate over the past fortnight, it'll be no surprise that January 3 is International Mind-Body Wellness Day.

However, the day is perhaps less about resolving to stick to that new gym routine, and more about highlighting the deep connection between our mental and emotional well-being and our physical health. It's a reminder that caring for the mind - through practices that support mental, emotional and spiritual wellness - goes hand-in-hand with caring for the body.
